The Amazon River flows directly through the Amazon rainforest, the heart of South America and the lungs of our world. This huge river makes it’s way through countries such as Equador, Peru, and Brazil, and its tributaries flow into Columbia, Venezuela and Bolivia. One of the best ways to experience the forest and this ricer is by kayaking. You can admire the river at your own pace while keeping an eye out for wildlife along the river’s edges. A trip here certainly has an adventurous feel to it. Fun fact: in 2007 a Slovenian athlete even swam the entire length of the river in 66 days. We would not recommend to do that, but it's quite an undertaking. The Amazon River is beautiful but is filled with animals, of which some can be considered dangerous like caiman, piranhas and anacondas. But don't worry, not all animals are, dolphins can be found here as well. Overall, the wildlife here is astonishing. Try getting the best information from your local travel agent beforehand so you can get the most out of your Amazon River experience.
