Day 1: Tour to Rincon de la Vieja
Your private van with guide/driver will take you to Liberia Town. Here you will learn about its history, visit the Royal Street, the Sabanero Museum, and have a local meal. Rincon de la Vieja is a Volcano and a National Park. It is part of the Guanacaste Conservation Area declared a UNESCO site in 1999.
Day 2: Accommodation in Rincon de la Vieja
Your own van with guide/driver will be on-site to help you arrange the perfect combination of activities. The amazing spot of Rincon de la Vieja offers activities for all ages. From just relaxing at the hot pools with a volcanic mud bath, nature walks to the adventures of tubing, rappelling, horseback riding…
Day 3: Guided visit of Selvatura Park
Your own van with guide/driver will take you from the Dry Forest to the Cloud Forest. In a 3hr drive you will change dramatically from one ecosystem to another. Both very important and threatened ecosystems of the world and crucial for the conservation of biodiversity.
Afternoon guided visit of Selvatura Park where the whole family will be able to walk on hanging bridges, visit one of the largest butterfly gardens in the Americas, hummingbird garden, and the biggest collection of insects. This exceptional collection was created by the Entomologist Dr. Richard Whitten who started collecting insects when he was 5 years old. Now it includes 1000000 insects assembled on innovative art format.
Day 4: Monteverde!
Early morning guided walk in the cloud forest.
And if your visit is during the months of Feb to April you will be able to easily spot a Resplendant Quetzal because its the matting and nesting season. Monteverde is not only rich with flora and fauna. This little community was founded in late 1950 by North American Quakers. Your private guide/driver will tell you everything about them and will also guide you through the activity you select which can be: a milk the cow farm tour or typical dance encounter in a local school or the cheese factory. A guided walk by a local quaker is also available for the afternoon.
Day 5: Guanacaste Coast
When you are all ready your private van with guide/driver will take you from the Cloud Forest to the rich Guanacaste Coast.
Day 6: Fun in Guanacaste
Enjoy the hotel and the beach. Remember that every day you will have your own van with guide/driver on site. He will be available if you want to go out to explore the area, see other beaches, towns, go out for lunch or dinner, visit the supermarket, make spa reservations or just to help you out with the kids. He is your nanny on board he can play games, make and fly a kite, make a sand castle contest or look for hermit crabs to make a race...
Day 7: Exotic bays and white sanded beaches
This morning you will glide along Costa Rica’s gold coast while passing some exotic bays, white sanded beaches, enjoying a cold tropical drink, snorkel in a tranquil bay and then enjoy a lunch prepared by the crew.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport. End of services.
